We Are Hiring — Lifting Inspection Engineer / Inspector

CIB MARS is seeking a qualified Lifting Inspection Engineer / Inspector to join our Inspection Operations team. The selected candidate will perform third-party inspections, testing, and technical assessments of lifting equipment and accessories while ensuring compliance with international standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilites
- Conduct inspections of lifting equipment and lifting accessories (cranes, hoists, forklifts, MEWPs, slings, shackles, lifting beams, etc.).
- Perform visual inspections, functional testing, and load testing where applicable.
- Identify and document defects, non-conformities, and safety-critical findings.
- Prepare accurate inspection reports and technical documentation in accordance with applicable standards.
- Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17020 inspection requirements and safety regulations.
- Maintain proper use and control of inspection instruments and calibrated equipment.
- Deliver technical guidance and operational training to operators and site personnel where required.
- Maintain professional communication with clients and internal technical teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Civil / Electrical Engineering
- 2–6 years experience in lifting equipment inspection, QA/QC, maintenance, or related industrial inspection roles
- Knowledge of lifting standards and safety regulations
- Experience in third-party inspection or ISO 17020 environment is an advantage
- Certifications such as LEEA, ASNT, CSWIP, IPAF, or OEM training will be considered beneficial
Skills Required
- Strong technical inspection knowledge
- Ability to prepare clear inspection reports and documentation
- Good understanding of HSE practices and industrial site safety
- Professional communication and client interaction skills
- High level of integrity, impartiality, and attention to detail
